Trek Days: 28 Days
Domestic Flight: (optional) one way

We can stop for 15 minute in Bhadetar which is view point for Dharan, Biratnager and Terai settlements. The views of mountains in this region are memorable one because this is a most remote area and Kanchanjunga is third-highest mountain in the world.
The trek starts to Chauki(2700m)-Gupa pokhari(2930m)-Nesum(1620m)-Thumma(1100m_-Gunsa(3430m)-Khambachen(4040m)-Lhonak(4790m)-Pangpema(5140m)-Khambachen(4000m)-Linkhim-Suketar. We can direct fly to Kathmandu from Suketar.

TAPLEJUNG TO KANCHANJUNGA SOUTH:
Trek Days: 16 Days
Domestic Flight: two ways
Max. Altitude: 4620m
Hotels: Nepali style
Season: October to May

Trek in Brief:
For this trek, both ways flight Katmandu - Taplejung - Katmandu is necessary. We can have experience with Limbu people on this trek. The treks starts from Thembewa (1880) - Keswa (1960m) - Mamanke (1810m) - Yamphudin (1690) - Omjekhola (2340m) - Torontan (2990m) - Tseram (3870m) - Ramche (4620m) - Yalung Glacier (4800m) then return back to Suketar and fly back to Kathmandu.

Kanchanjunga 8565 meter- the third highest mountain on the world, as the queen of the great Himalayas , stands on the Nepal-Sikkim border high above rhododendrons and large forests with rivers pouring from its sides. Nepal opened the Kanchanjunga region to trekkers in 1988, though people have trekked in the area in connection with mountaineering

expeditions since the turn of the century. Comparatively, the region is a long way from Kathmandu , and the nearest airport and roads are a long way from mountain. As per the rule of His Majesty's Government of Nepal, there would be at least two trekkers in a group to trek at a time. On the trip you will be able to study the culture and lifestyle of Rai and Limbu communities.

For a trekking trip to the north base camp at Pangpema 5140 meter, taking flight from Kathmandu to Biratnagar then drive Biratnagar to Basantapur and trek to Kanchanjunga North base camp and return to Taplejung by the same route and then flying back to Kathmandu from Taplejung takes minimum 23 days in total. However, t

he same trek can be done in 18 days, if taking both way flight from/to Taplejung instead of flying to Biratnagar and trekking from Basantapur.

To make trekking trip to the south base camp at Oktang 4800 meter and Yalung glacier at same elevation, taking both way flight from Kathmandu to Taplejung takes minimum 16 days.

One who wants to do the entire trek in Kanchanjunga region including Milke Danda with both North and South base camp, crossing five high passes in 'Mirgin La route' (crossing max.4660 meter) or 'Lapsang La route' (crossing max. 5110 meter) in between the short connection route of these two base camp takes minimum 26 to 30 days.
