JANAKPUR (Birth of place Sita) Situated the 390 kilometers east from Kathmandu. Janakpur is the great religious place. And famous as the birth of place SITA, the consort of the lord Ramchandra and the heroine of great Hindu epic, the RAMAYANA. There is an artistic marble temple of Sita (known as Janaki) who is popularity known as Naulakha Mandir (Means temple built at the cost of Nine Lakhas).
