  We have engaged Ganesh as our guide a number of times over the years and each time, he has delivered in spades. We have found him to be very warm and sincere in his dealings with me. We have compared notes with some of my friends and not only are his packages competitively priced, he also flexible enough to entertain
the whim and fancies of a capricious tourist. We can't count all the times over these few trips that we have changed the itineraries at the last moment.
Our experiences with him has always been very good. You can always count on him to give you current information not found in guide books which have enhanced my enjoyment of my trips. For an inexperienced trekker, like myself, he have also offered valuable advice on the things to pack and bring. We would definitely engage Ganesh as our guide again for our future trips to Nepal |

Annapurna Base Camp Trek Nepal March, 9-2006!
 We've been to the edge and back! What a fantastic trek to Annapurna Base Camp trek. We had so much fun with you Ganesh and his company. Thanks for being the best guide in the mountains, you ( ON THE EDGE TREKKING,/TRAVEL NEPAL ) really made it special. You constantly looked after us and more importantly, we have made a very good friend in Nepal .
We will miss you, and looking forward to returning Nepal soon to do the another beautiful treks with ON THE EDGE NEPAL , So Ganesh book us seat for me and my family now for the coming next year again. I can't wait to come back!

 I thought I'd done sufficient homework before I left the U.K. Thought the choice of Trekking agency would be easy but when I arrived in Kathmandu, there were hundreds of agencies to choose from, all offering pretty much the same, then I found at ON THE EDGE TREKKING. Al last all the boxes ticked. All I wanted was a responsible agency that wasn't going to rip me off and would act on its claim of being on eco - tourism service provider! ON THE EDGE TREKKING (Nepal) exceeded my expectations. I knew was I was getting, There were no hidden extras, my guide was informative and resourceful, he was insured and so was my porter. I was supplied with safe drinking water, which not only saved me a bundle of cash. I was delighted that I wasn't adding to Nepal's own Bottle in mountain. Most importantly, they were professional and I could trust them.

Thank you so much for organizing such a wonderful trip for us in Nepal . This trip makes us to understand Nepali culture and to enjoy the excellent natural scenery. We take pleasure in the trekking the most and will never forget the time we have when trekking around the Annapurna region. Ganesh is our tour guide and eventually he becomes a friend of ours after the 6-day trip. He is a smart, fun, helpful and responsible person. He arranges our trip very precisely, reacts very quickly and understands our requests thoroughly all the time. Therefore, we didn't worry about anything but to enjoy the trekking, Nepali food and the beautiful landscape of Nepal . It's not easy to trek along the route sometimes, and he has been kind in taking great care of us that makes our trekking very interesting and fills with fun. It is my pleasure to talk about my guide "Ganesh Simkhada" who works for On the Edge Trekking Agency. He helped me and my wife during our Nepal trekking. With the help of On the Edge Trekking and our great guide Ganesh, we left Kathmandu on 12th March for the Annapurna circuit trek from Besishahar and back to Pokhara (21 days). The first time I saw Ganesh at airport, I knew I made a right decision. Although he was not our eventual tour guide, I felt a trust from his sincerity and the way he welcomed us. With his profession and organized trekking, I and my sister had a enjoyable adventure during Poon Hill trekking (December 2003) and in Chitwan.
I wouldn't experience the beautiful landscape of Nepal without their company. I'm greatly looking forward to coming back to Nepal in the future and see them. So I would like to highly recommend On the Edge Trekking to the peoples who are planning to trek in Nepal . |
